Christopher Nolan is expanding his ensemble for his ambitious project, ‘The Odyssey,’ by bringing in four additional actors, including some who have previously worked with him.

Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Bill Irwin, and Samantha Morton have been announced as part of the supporting cast for Nolan's film adaptation of Homer's epic poem, which is being produced by Universal.

Elliot Page, known for their role as Ariadne in Nolan's 2010 film ‘Inception,’ rejoins the director's team. Himesh Patel, who appeared in Nolan's 2020 film ‘Tenet,’ and Bill Irwin, the voice of TARS in ‘Interstellar,’ are also returning to work under Nolan's direction. Samantha Morton (‘Minority Report,’ ‘The Whale’), who has not previously worked with Nolan, completes the quartet of new additions.

Universal has not issued any statements regarding the casting. These actors join an already star-studded lineup that includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, and Benny Safdie.

The studio has described ‘The Odyssey’ as a "mythic action epic" that will be filmed across various global locations using the latest IMAX film technology. This marks the first time Homer's ancient tale will be showcased on IMAX screens, and slated for July 17, 2026.

Page, an Oscar nominee for 2007's ‘Juno,’ is also recognized for their work in Netflix’s series ‘The Umbrella Academy’ and the Netflix feature ‘Close to You,’ which Page starred in, co-wrote, and produced. The movie debuted on Netflix in November following a festival circuit.

Patel first gained widespread attention with his role in the 2018 Beatles-themed movie ‘Yesterday’ and received an Emmy nomination for his performance in HBO’s ‘Station Eleven.’ He stars in the recent HBO series ‘The Franchise,’ which explores the production of a superhero movie.

Irwin, besides lending his voice to TARS in ‘Interstellar,’ operated the robot on set and is remembered for adding humor to the film. His extensive acting career includes roles in films like ‘Rustin’ and numerous TV series ranging from ‘Third Rock from the Sun’ and ‘Sesame Street’ to ‘CSI’ and ‘The Dropout.’

Morton, a two-time Oscar nominee, is known for her lead role in the Starz series ‘The Serpent Queen,’ based on the life of Catherine de’ Medici. She will next be seen in Ruben Östlund's upcoming film ‘The Entertainment System Is Down.’ Her previous Oscar nominations were for her roles in ‘In America’ and ‘Sweet and Lowdown.’
