The filmmakers behind child trafficking drama film ‘City Of Dreams’ are giving away $1 million in preview tickets to human trafficking organizations including survivors, churches, schools and impoverished communities that cannot afford to see the film. This will approximately accumulate to 50,000 people.

John Devaney, founder of United Capital and Manor House Films, made the donation to make all this possible.

Previews for the film begin as early as Wednesday, two days before its official premiere.

“[Director Mohit Ramchandani] has done a brilliant job through this powerful and unforgettable film by focusing on this issue and telling this story, inspired by true events. Few topics deserve a more urgent spotlight and my family, and I are privileged that we can help raise awareness by providing the opportunity to help protect and save innocent children from slavery,” said Devaney. “We know America will be as moved as our growing list of ambassadors and influencers who have signed on to pledge their support to the film.”

‘City of Dreams’ had its world premiere at the Mammoth Film Festival on March 5, 2023 and releases in the USA on August 30, 2024.

The film stars Ari Lopez, Renata Vaca, Alfredo Castro, Paulina Gaitán, Jason Patric, and Diego Calva. Notable producers include Vivek Ramaswamy and Tony Robbins.
