Bill Skarsgård Joins Hugh Jackman And Jodie Comer In ‘The Death Of Robin Hood’

Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett, and Noah Jupe have joined the cast of 'The Death of Robin Hood,' which stars Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer in leading roles.
The thriller follows Robin Hood (Jackman) as he confronts his turbulent past of criminal activities and violence. Under the influence of an enigmatic woman (Comer), Robin is presented with an opportunity for redemption. The film is written and directed by Michael Sarnoski and began production in Ireland this week.
Skarsgård is fresh from his role as Count Orlok in 'Nosferatu' and is widely recognized for his previous work as Pennywise the Clown in 'It' and 'It Chapter Two,' adaptations of Stephen King’s renowned horror novel.
Bartlett is known for his portrayal of Armond in HBO’s 'The White Lotus,' and his other works include 'The Last of Us' and 'Welcome to Chippendales.'
Jupe has appeared in 'The Night Manager,' George Clooney’s 'Suburbicon,' 'Wonder,' and the horror films 'A Quiet Place' and its sequel 'A Quiet Place Part II.'
The film's financing is handled by Lyrical Media, with Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett producing through their Ryder Picture Company, alongside Alexander Black for Lyrical Media.
Jon Rosenberg, Natalie Sellers, Rama Gottumukkala, Sarnoski, and Jackman will serve as executive producers. A24 acquired the U.S. distribution rights earlier in Cannes, while True Brit Entertainment will distribute the film in the UK and Ireland.
A release date has not been confirmed.
